Back when I was studying, I created a mock magazine with an article on the very talented (and very real!) Kareena Zerefos. I was captivated by her beautiful 'Carnival Horses' created with graphite, ink, gouache and vector art. The piece was inspired by a childood dream of hers where all the horses at a carnival would escape. It does have a dreamlike quality to it, doesn't it?
Originally from Sydney, Kareena is currently based in London – check out her neat workspace. To me, her work is Alice (in Wonderland)'s day at the circus. Fast fact: Kareena's favourite word is elephant!
